Bio

Originally from Enid, Okla., Emily Peterson started at Sterling College as a volleyball student athlete in 2019. She graduated from SC with a Bachelor’s of Business Mathematics in 2024 and started as an assistant volleyball coach in the fall of that same year.

Throughout her volleyball career, Peterson was named a two-time KCAC All-Conference first team (2020, 2023), two-time KCAC All-Conference second team (2021, 2022), KCAC All-Conference third team (2023), two-time NCCAA All-Central Region first team (2021, 2023), NCCAA All-Central Region second team (2022) and Sterling College Outstanding Senior Athlete (2024).

On top of coaching the Lady Warriors, Peterson puts her degree to work at First Bank in Sterling.
