Steria Named to the AVCA NAIA All-Region Team

STERLING, Kan. – Sara Steria has been named to the AVCA NAIA All-Region Team for the West Central Region for the 2012 season. Fourteen players were named to the team, four of which were from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Steria played in 35 matches and 120 games during her senior campaign. Offensively, Steria averaged 3.63 kills per game and had a total of 435 kills on the season. Defensively, Steria collected 449 digs for an average of 3.74 digs per game and had 32 blocks.

Sterling finished the season with a record of 22-13, completing Sterling's first 20 win season since 1997. In KCAC play, Sterling finished 12-6 and tied for fourth overall in the conference.
