Bio

Nicole Salazar came to Sterling College from Caracas, Venezuela as a student in 2018. During her time as a student-athlete, she garnered many awards, both as a student and as a Lady Warrior tennis player.

On the court she was a two-time, KCAC All-Conference Honorable Mention (2020, 2021), Warrior of Excellence (2020) and the team’s Champion of Character (2021). In the classroom, she was a four-time Kelsey Scholar and won the Art Leadership Award (2022).

Salazar graduated from Sterling College in 2022 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Photography. After college she worked as a Tennis Pro at the Four Seasons Country Club in Las Colinas, Texas. She returned to Sterling in the spring of 2025 as the head tennis coach.

Salazar currently lives in Sterling with her husband and golden doodle. The couple is expected the birth of their first born in March.
