KCAC Announces 2014 Men's Basketball Individual Awards
WICHITA, Kan.- The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2013-2014 Men's Basketball All-Conference Awards. Darius Alexander (SR/Little Rock, Ark.) headlines the awards for Sterling, earning Defensive Player of the Year, All-KCAC Second Team, and All-KCAC Defensive Team honors. Eddie Adesodun (SR/Mesquite, Texas) was also named to the All-KCAC Second Team while Braden Thompson (JR/South Hutchinson, Kan.) was named to the All-KCAC Third Team.
Alexander is averaging 14.8 points per game for the Warriors this season. The senior leads Sterling in rebounds with 160 on the year and in assists with 94 on the year.
Adesodun is avergaing a team high 17.8 points per game on the year and has scored 516 points so far this season.
Thompson is averaging 16.8 points per game.
Sterling hosts McPherson College tonight at 7:00 pm in quarterfinal action in the KCAC Championship Tournament.
