Bio
Todd Fulton started at Sterling as a student back in 1981 and graduated as Sterling College’s outstanding student with a degree in K-12 physical education in 1985. The following year he earned his master’s in educaiton from Pittsburg State University.
Before getting into public education, Fulton coached for seven years at the collegiate level for Sterling College, Pittsburg State University and Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
His stint in public education began in 1990, he has worked a variety of position at schools around the state of Kansas including Nickerson, Victoria, Norton and Hugoton teaching everything from K-12 Health and Physical Education to middle school English. While in those districts he also coached football, basketball, track and baseball.
In 2003, he was named the AFLAC National Assistant Coach of the Year while at Norton Community High School.
Fulton came back to Sterling in the fall of 2020 and has served as the defensive line coach, running backs coach and special team’s coach. This season Futon was named Director of Football Operations and head offensive line coach.
While at Sterling, Fulton has coached five KCAC All-Conference Players including graduate assistants Kendrick Bell and Flinders Cameron.
He lives in Sterling and is the proud papa of three grandchildren.
