Bio

Tarik Embrack came to Sterling College in the summer of 2025 as the linebackers coach and co-special teams coordinator. Originally from Winter Park, Fla., by way of Long Island, N.Y., Embrack played for and graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in 2019 with a degree in history and political science. The following year, he earned his master’s degree in sports administration, also from NMHU.

Embrack began his collegiate coaching career in 2020 as the assistant offensive line coach and assistant recruiting coordinator at his alma mater. He then spent the next three seasons as a high school head coach in New Mexico. His most recent coaching position was as the assistant wide receivers and tight ends coach at Independence Community College.

Embrack currently lives in Wichita, Kan., with his fiancée and three children.
