Bio

Nathan Butts came to Sterling College from Bluffton, S.C. in the spring of 2026. He achieved his Bachelor’s of Science from Utah State University in 2021 and is currently working on his masters in education through Southern Utah University.

Butts has a wide range of coaching experience including wide receivers coach at Bluffton High School in 2019, a defensive back’s coach at Ridgeline High School in 2020, a cornerbacks coach in 2021 at Black Hills University, an associate head coach and defensive coordinator at Borger ISD in 2022, an associate athletic director and associate head coach in Brownfield ISD and the head coach at Logan High School from 2023-2025.

He currently lives in Hutchinson, Kan. with his wife, their daughter and their dog.
