Bio

Brenden Sanders joined the Sterling College in the fall of 2024 as the defensive back’s coach. Originally from Austin, Texas, Sanders is no stranger to the KCAC. He played defensive back for Bethel College from 2020 to 2023 where he also earned his Bachelors of Science in Health and Education with a minor in coaching in 2024.

As a player, Sanders was part of the Thresher’s three-peat KCAC Championship run (2020, 21, 22) and was a two-time All-KCAC First Team selection and in 2022 was an AFCA Honorable Mention All-American.

This season he will be the defensive coordinator for the Warriors and finishing his Masters of Science in Kinesiology from East Texas Baptist University.

Sanders currently lives in Hutchinson, Kan.
