2018 Warrior Football Schedule Released
STERLING, KAN. – Sterling College released the Warrior Football schedule for the 2018 season earlier this week.
The 2018 football season kicks-off on September 1st, when the Warriors open conference play against new KCAC member Avila University in their home opener. Sterling will then travel to for their first away game, facing off against the Southwestern College Moundbuilders on September 8th in Winfield, Kansas.
Sterling will then host Kansas Wesleyan on September 15th, for "Warrior Fest" weekend, followed by another home game against the Friends University Falcons on September 22nd in Sterling.
The Warriors will then be traveling to Leavenworth to take on the University of St. Mary on September 29th, followed by Homecoming as they face the Ottawa University Braves in Smisor Stadium on October 6th.
The following two weeks will have the Warriors on the road, as Sterling will travel to Bethany College on October 13th, and to Tabor College on October 20th. The Warriors will then have a bye week before their final two games of the 2018 season.
Sterling will then face off against McPherson College on senior day for their final home game of the season on November 3rd, followed by their final game of the regular season in North Newton, Kansas as they take on the Bethel College Threshers on November 10th.
Coach Chase Hansen said: ""We are continuing to work hard during spring practice and we are looking forward to our upcoming schedule this fall. We are excited to keep working with the players and we will keep improving over the next few months before the 2018 season."

The Sterling College Warrior Football team also announced that their 2018 Spring Game is set for Friday, April 13th at Smisor Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
