NFL Regional Scouts Check Out Two Football Players
STERLING, Kan. – Two Warriors from the 2013 season are getting a taste of playing at the next level as regional scouts from the Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers came out to get measurements, time agility, and personally interview the players. Following their strong and explosive offensive attack during the season, Antonio Bray and Reggie Langford were both put to the test both physically and mentally.
Running Back Antonio Bray had an historic season for Sterling and was rewarded for his production by being named KCAC Special Teams Player of the Year and a NAIA All-American. Bray would lead all NAIA in all-purpose yards (2352), third in all purpose yards per game (196), and number four in the NAIA in total kick off return yards.
Quarterback Reggie Langford also had a superb season for his year at Sterling; Langford would be the conductor of the entire offense with his arm and legs. Averaging 95 yards a game on the ground and passing for 126 yards per game, Langford would be named to the KCAC Second Team Offense for his tremendous play on the field.
