Bio
Originally from Stuttgart, Ark., Abraham Hardimon came to Sterling College in the fall of 2025 as an assistant baseball coach and assistant resident director of Kilbourn. Before coming to Sterling College, Hardimon served in the United States Navy from 2019-2022.
Hardimon earned his associate’s degree while playing baseball at Otero Junior College from 2011-2012. He then transferred to Peru State College where he played baseball for a year. Hardimon went on to earned two bachelor’s degrees from Liberty University, both in interdisciplinary studies the first with concentrations in education, government and psychology (2018) and the second with a concentration in business (2022).
In 2025, he completed his masters of secondary education with an emphasis in humanities from Grand Canyon University.
As a coach, Hardimon has a diverse background, he started as the head women’s basketball coach at Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College from 2021-2023. He then became an assistant baseball coach at TGU High School in from 2023-24, helping the team to a fourth-place finish in the state tournament and coaching several all-district players. In the 2024-2025 season, he served as the assistant women’s basketball coach at Schreiner University (NCAA DIII) where he helped the team to a SCAC Conference Tournament semifinals. In 2025, he went back to baseball as the head coach at Mount Sacred Heart Catholic School.
Hardimon resides in Sterling, Kan.
