Jack Dillard is in his 11th season as the Head Men's and Women's Cross Country & Track Coach at Sterling College. During his time at Sterling, Dillard has build both a quality cross country and track program.

Dillard's athletes hold 15 of the top 22 times in Men's and Women's Cross Country and hold 7 of the school records in track and field. The Warrior cross country and track programs have sent athletes to NAIA Nationals in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and compete in the top half of the KCAC. Under Dillard the Warrior track and field athletes have earned 27 First Team All-KCAC honors and 47 Honorable Mention KCAC honors as well as winning 7 individual KCAC championships.

One of the most significant accomplishments during Dillard's time at Sterling was at the 2008 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships when Dillard was named NAIA Region 4 Coach of the Year as well as having senior Natalie Gordon finish 3rd in the 400 meter hurldes to earn All-American honors.

Jack is a 2003 graduate of Sterling College where he doubled majored in Computer Science and Business. He also was a four year letter winner in both football and track during his time at Sterling. Jack graduated from Wichita State University in the Spring of 2006 with his Masters in Sport Administration.

Dillard was a two time All-KCAC selection in football his junior and senior seasons, when he led the team with 5 interceptions each year. He finished his career with 12 interceptions. In 2002, he was selected by his teammates as Team Captain, Most Valuable Defensive Back, and Most Inspirational Player.

As a runner at SC, Jack ran everything from the 100 to the 400, as well 400 hurdles and long jump. He was two time HM-KCAC in the 400m his junior and senior seasons.

Coach Dillard and his wife Kim reside in Sterling, KS with their three children.
