STERLING, Kan. – Warriorfest is this weekend at Sterling College as the Warriors prepare to host multiple home events on Saturday. The festivities kick-off at 9:30 am in downtown Sterling with a block party featuring booths from the Warrior Athletic Department programs and downtown businesses. Women's and men's soccer will then host Central Christian starting at 1:00 pm. Before the football game, there will be a tailgate party for the community with food provided by the college. The day will culminate with a 6:00 pm kick-off of the football game as the Warriors host Friends University in KCAC action.

The Lady Warrior soccer team kicks off at 1:00 pm against Central Christian. Under the direction of Justin Morris, the Lady Warriors are 3-1-1 on the season and will look to increase their unbeaten streak to three games. Sterling will be led by KCAC Offensive Player of the Week, Kenya Renteria.

At 3:00 pm, the Warrior men's soccer team will host Central Christian. Under first year head coach Brandon Ponchak, Sterling is 1-4 and looking to earn another home win. Sterling will be led by senior Brennan Hodge.

Coach Andy Lambert and the Warrior football squad look to start the KCAC season off with a win in their 6:00 pm game against Friends University. Sterling is 1-1 on the season and coming off a win over Culver-Stockton in the HAAC/KCAC Challenge. Look for Antonio Bray to lead the Warriors after earning KCAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
