STERLING, Kan. - For the fourth straight game, the Lady Warriors of Sterling College swept their opponent, this time the Eagles from Southwestern Christian University. The win came on the back of a strong performance by the Lady Warrior freshman class that saw a lot of playing time in the match. With the victory, Sterling improves to 4-0 on the year and 4-0 in the Sterling College Invitational.

Sterling won the first game in the match 25-9, the second game 25-10, and the third game 25-19.

Hayley Ray led the way for Sterling offensively with eight kills and two blocks. Sara Steria had five kills. Freshmen Rachel Johnson added six kills on ten attacks.

Adriana Gonzalez and Jenna Arlow handled the setting duties for Sterling. Gonzalez had 19 assists while Arlow had nine.

Defensively, Sterling was led by Lora Reardon with five digs.

With the win, Sterling moves to 4-0 on the season and will take on Johnson and Wales (Colo.) at 3:10. Watch the game live on the Sterling College Sports Network.
