KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2012 Baseball All-America teams, selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association (BCA) All-America Selection Committee. Sterling's Daniel Cloteaux was named an Honorable Mention All-American.

Cloteaux, a junior from Lafayette, La., transferred to Sterling this year from the University of Louisiana Lafayette as a right handed pitcher. During the season, Cloteaux was Sterling's top starting pitcher.

Also this year, Cloteaux was named the KCAC Pitcher of the Year and was a First Team All-KCAC selection.

In 2012, Cloteaux was eighth in the nation with 11 wins on the season. Cloteaux went 11-2 on the year with a 3.18 ERA in 14 games and 87.2 innings pitched.

Sterling finished the season with a 45-14 record, making it to the NAIA Opening Round Championship game, just one game short of the NAIA World Series. The Warriors were KCAC Co-Champions and KCAC Tournament Champions in 2012.
