HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Sterling College advanced passed the play-in game against the University of Saint Mary Spires at Fun Valley Softball Complex in Hutchinson, Kan., with an 8-4 victory.

Courtney Bell collected the complete game victory, throwing 7.0 innings and giving up four runs, three earned, on eight hits and had a strikeout.

Randi Lucas led Sterling at the plate, going three for four with two RBI.

Sterling advances to play Bethany College.
