WICHITA, Kan. – The Sterling College Warriors would be unable to complete a late game comeback on the road against Friends University, falling to the Falcons 90-94. Friends used an amazing 0.549 shooting percentage from the field, and a phenomenal 0.600 shooting percentage from behind the three-point line to overcome the Warrior on slot.

Trenton Stutzman (6-0 SR Guard) led the Warriors in scoring, racking up 22 points that included six three-point baskets. Both Darius Alexander (5-11 SO Guard) and Cody Brazelton (6-6 SR Forward) scored 15 points for the Warriors. Eddie Adesodun (5-10 SO Guard) scored 13 points for SC, and Adam Brown (6-4 JR Forward) scored 11 points for Sterling.

Brett Steven was the leading scorer for Friends with 23 points. Reggie Britton added 15 points, Colton Rausch added 13 points, and Keith Kegerreis added 11 points.

With the loss, Sterling drops to 10-11 on the season, 5-4 in the KCAC. Sterling will host the University of Saint Mary on Saturday at 4:00 pm. Watch the game live on the Sterling College Sports Network.
