STERLING, Kan. – A pair of double-doubles by Adam Brown (6-4 JR Forward) and Cody Brazelton (6-6 SR Forward) led Sterling to a 76-66 victory over Tabor College in the Gleason Center on Saturday night. The Warriors shot 0.500 from the field on their way to the win over the Bluejays while Tabor managed to shoot only 0.403 from the field.

Brown led all scorers with 20 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, and blocked three shots while Brazelton, the other Warrior with a double-double, scored 13 points and pulled down 11 rebounds.

Trenton Stutzman (6-0 SR Guard) continues to light up the net from behind the three-point line. Stutzman scored 19 points in the game, including four of nine from behind the three-point line.

Eddie Adesodun (5-10 SO Guard) has started to provide a stellar offensive game off of the Warrior bench. Against the Bluejays, Adesodun put up 17 points on six of 11 shooting, two of four from behind the three-point line.

Three Bluejays scored in double figures. Phillip Jimenez scored 18 points, Ryan Chippeaux scored 15 points, and Kyle Wallace scored 11 points.

Free-throws played a major role in the outcome of the game. The Warriors outscored Tabor from the free-throw line 22-8.

Sterling got out to an early lead in the game with a Stutzman three-pointer with 14:48 to play in the half. The Warriors would build the lead to eight through the strong inside play of both Brown and Brazelton.

The Warriors would be able to maintain their somewhat comfortable lead heading into the half with a seven point advantage, 39-32.

After Sterling built an 11 point lead off of a Stutzman four point play in the second half, Tabor would eat away at the Sterling lead.

With 12:15 left in the game, Tabor would take a two point lead on a Mike Janzen three-point basket.

Tabor would be able to build the lead to four, but Sterling would have an answer with Brown's dominance.

Through strong post play, Sterling built the lead back to nine points with 2:04 to play.

The Warriors would hang on the rest of the way, winning 76-66.
