McPherson, Kan. – The Sterling College Warrior men's soccer team kept the game against the McPherson College Bulldogs in McPherson, Kansas close until the second half as Sterling lost 0-4 to the Bulldogs on Wednesday night. McPherson outshot the Warriors in the match 22-10.

Victor Sanchez, Cuyler Prichard, and Tyler Lowden each put a shot on target in the match. Two Warriors played in the goal during the match, Jordan Cabrera made the start and had two saves while Jonathan Burnamen came into the game in the second half and made one save.

McPherson's four goals in the game were scored by Andrew Rosales with two, Christian Rodriguez and Brooks Walsh.

With the loss, Sterling drops to 2-12-1 on the season, 2-4 in the KCAC. Sterling will take the field again on Saturday at 3:00 pm against Friends University. Watch the match live on the Sterling College Sports Network.
