STERLING, Kan. – The Sterling College Football team defeated the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes on Saturday to secure sole possession of the KCAC Conference title and also secure their first KCAC title in Sterling College history.

The Warriors gathered around the movie projector in the West Cafeteria to hear the announcement and waited patiently to hear where and whom they will play this Saturday. 

The announcement was made and Sterling will travel to Baldwin City, Kan. to take on the number 4 ranked Baker University Wildcats.

Baker comes into the game ranked four in the NAIA with a 10-1 record on the season with an 8-1 HAAC conference record and a share of the Heart of America Athletic Conference title.

Sterling finished the season on an eight game win streak and secured their first KCAC title Saturday in a 36-19 victory over Kansas Wesleyan.

This game will be played this Saturday November 23 in Baldwin City, Kan. Kick-Off is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
