HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The Sterling College Golfers finished up their fall season by hosting the Warrior Invitational at Carey Park Golf Course in Hutchinson, KS on October 8-9, 2012. The men's team was able to defend the championship from the previous year by shooting rounds of 301 and 299 to tie John Brown University for first place. The tie breaker went to the team's fifth man's score, and Sterling's Stephen Austin beat John Brown's Tommy Wright by two strokes to win the tournament.

LAWRENCE, Kan. - In the first KCAC meet of the season, the Sterling College Warrior golf team finished third overall and third among KCAC schools in the Ottawa Invitational. Four Warriors finished in the top 15 on the men's side and both Lady Warriors finished in the top 15 on the women's side.

MCPHERSON, Kan. – Sterling's Alexa Pelton won the Central Christian Invitational by seven strokes. The victory by Pelton is the first ever in Sterling women's golf history for an individual. Pelton is a senior from Dighton, Kan.
