Emporia, Kan. - Four Sterling College Warriors left the ESU Planet Sub cross country meet with new personal bests. Freshman Cody Rodriquez highlighted the men's side with a new best of 28:13 placing him 100^th overall out of 218 runners. On the women's side it was Junior Sara Doll leading the way once again with a new PR of20:24 , Senior Jillian Linnebur was hot on her heels with a new PR of 20:50 and freshman Amber Balvin capped it off with a new PR of 23:44.

Hillsboro, Kan. – The Sterling College Women's and Men's cross country teams travelled to Hillsboro, Kansas to run in the Tabor Invitational on Saturday, September 24th.  Sterling's women finished with a team time of 1:56:28, good enough for 8th out of 10 teams on a 5k course.  SC's men finished with a team time of 2:27:38, placing the team 6th out of 11 teams on the 8k course.

Lubbock, Tex. - The Running Warriors travelled to Lubbock, TX to compete in the Texas Tech Open cross country meet on Friday, September 16.  As a team, the women finished 10th in the 10 team meet.

McPherson, Kan. - The Warrior cross country squads competed at the McPherson Lakeside Shootout Saturday with the men's team finishing sixth, while the women finished in fourth position.
