Sterling, Kan. – The Sterling College Warrior football team has forfeited three games of the 2011 season after self-reporting the unintentional use of an ineligible player.

Sterling, Kan. – On Senior Day at Smisor Stadium, the Sterling College Warrior football team fell to the Bethany College Swedes 24-14. Bethany racked up 160 yards on the ground and had nine more minutes of possession than Sterling in the game.  Sterling would score two offensive touchdowns in the game, but would be unable to keep the Swedes from putting up over 20 points and have now lost their third straight game.

Ottawa, Kan. – On Saturday night in Ottawa, Kansas, the Sterling College Warrior football team was unable to move the football offensively, managing only 187 total yards as the Warriors lost to the Ottawa University Braves 27-6. If Sterling could have won the game, the Warriors would have been in the driving seat in the conference. With the loss, Sterling is now two games back of KCAC leading Ottawa with a 4-2 KCAC record while Ottawa is a perfect 6-0 in the KCAC.
