OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Andrew Clark's grand slam in the bottom of the fifth inning lifted No. 15 Sterling College over No. 23 Science and Arts (Okla.) in the first round of the NAIA Opening Round in Oklahoma City on Thursday. The five run fifth inning propelled Sterling into the lead, which the Warriors would not relinquish in the 8-5 victory.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – No. 15 Sterling will take on No. 23 Science and Arts (Okla.) today at 2:30 pm in the Opening Round of the 2013 NAIA Baseball Championship. The game is available on 95.9 HKFM as well as through Oklahoma City University's website. The video broadcast for the game is a subscription service while the radio broadcast by 95.9 HKFM will be streamed over the airways in the Hutchinson area.

WICHITA, Kan. – The Sterling College baseball team earned 17 different All-Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) individual awards. Joe Williams led the way for Sterling, being named the KCAC Player of the Year and First Team All-KCAC.

STERLING, Kan. – Sterling College will head to Oklahoma City and the campus of Oklahoma City University for the 2013 NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round. The Warriors will be the second seed in the tournament that features No. 1 seed Oklahoma City University, No. 3 seed Science and Arts (Okla.), No. 4 seed Northwestern (Iowa), and No. 5 seed Jamestown (N.D.). The five team double elimination tournament begins on Thursday.
